AFROCITY

 Well well well, that was an unexpected series, mind my manners with, Welcome to karinik's blog. Ndani TV is known for constantly giving their viewers both entertainment and informative content, it seems they heard our cries after the Instagram reel series they dropped last year( phases) OMG phases was way too short and annoying ( and interesting watch tho, you should see it) This time they hit us from nowhere with a new series called AFROCITY!!!! Not only did they surprise us by dropping all six episodes but they made something new and different, I’m really excited typing this cause the grim on my face is giving me a spasm right now.

Anyway afrocity starts with the main character voke who is in lagos for the first time, and all you can see is the exact look of how lagos is, starting with how he entered “one chance” by crossing the road instead of using and overhead bridge, which led to him calling his brother dafe who was at work and getting ready for his meeting to call his girlfriend to help, his girlfriend getting there gave us an insight on how difficult it is to communicate with the Nigerian police and they also addressed the so called law that “a woman can’t bail”.oops I see I got your attention. And the more I type the less fun you’ll have watching it, so I’m not going to spoil it for you, but I’ll tell you one thing. It is full of drama, love, betrayal, thrill and i had my eyes glued throughout. Infact expect the unexpected, and their use of pidgin language is so soothing you can feel the exact emotions and vibes from the actors, and yes the actors were wonderful and were perfectly picked for their roles also watch out for my favorite characters; Frayo which is played by henry Arnold and Adelaja which is played by Jude chukwuka, yes you read that right, the one and only Jude chukwuka!!! You may know him from castle and castle, it’s her day and the delivery boy.

I enjoyed every bit of it and I expect a season two, I hope you enjoy it too. scrriim
